APTA-KY Pain and Addiction Toolkit
Welcome to the APTA Kentucky Pain & Addiction Toolkit. This toolkit was developed in partnership with the University of Kentucky Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program and Johnson Physical Therapy Consulting . It's important for healthcare providers to participate in continuing education on substance use disorder prior to utilizing the toolkit. Contact Dr. Holly Johnson for information on CEU courses or complete the form at the bottom of her website.
The toolkit is designed to help healthcare professionals provide care and resources to their patients struggling with substance use disorder. The resources on this page are provided to you free of charge. Additional resources that include patient educational videos and educational handouts are available for a fee. These fees help support our continued work in educating the public, healthcare providers, and their patients on the alternatives to opioids for pain management.
