Weston Jones, physical therapist at PRO Physical Therapy, will present “Minimally Invasive TKA: Is Recovery Faster?” A growing trend in the orthopedic world over the past several years has been minimally invasive total knee arthroplasty. The primary goal of this technique is to improve function and recovery duration. Is that the case in comparison to traditional surgical methods? Answering this question with evidence from current research is the primary goal of this presentation. However, we will also look at various implants used during the total knee procedure and identify if there is a significant difference between patient specific and “off the shelf” implants.
Continuing education credits will be awarded. APTA Kentucky Chapter members may attend at no cost and non-members may purchase a certificate of completion for $20. Two Category 1 CEs will be awarded to all attendees. For more information, please contact:
